About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance professional with deep experience in paper bag and flexible packaging manufacturing. This is a hands-on role responsible for upholding and advancing Flexocraft's quality standards across our product lines, including custom retail bags, reusable bags, food service bags, and gift packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute Flexocraft's multi-point QA inspection process on all purchase orders
- Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished paper bag products for defects, dimensional accuracy, print quality, and structural integrity
- Develop and maintain QA documentation, standard operating procedures, and inspection checklists
- Identify non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Collaborate with domestic and overseas production facilities to ensure consistent quality standards
- Communicate QA findings clearly to management and operations teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in packaging, paper products, or flexible manufacturing
- Direct experience with paper bags, kraft paper, or flexible packaging strongly preferred
- Familiarity with flexographic printing quality standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production, sourcing, and management teams
You Will Not Be Considered If:
- You have fewer than 2 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing setting
- You have no background in paper, packaging, or related industries
- You cannot commit to full-time, on-site work
- You cannot provide verifiable QA work history
